PRESS RELEASE

JACKSON, Michigan – July 24, 2015 – Camshaft Machine Company (CMC) announced today that it is now ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Standard Certified. ISO/TS 16949:2009 registration is considered the highest level of quality standards for the automotive industry.  Attaining the ISO/TS 16949 registration is a significant achievement and is a critical step to strengthen our position as a world class supplier of camshafts” said Jeremy Lumbrezer, CMC’s President and CEO. “With this announcement, we not only validate the quality of our operation, but demonstrate our commitment to meeting the demands and expectations of existing and potential customers.”

“Improving quality and attaining ISO/TS 16949:2009 was our primary goal when we took over the business a year ago” said Rodney Delong CMC’s Vice President and COO.   “This registration coupled with our tailor-made cores (UGL) are a significant jump in quality over the industry standard of one size fits all; our cores are far superior because they will be close to finish size and require much less grind time with less potential to burn, and there will be less risk to grind through the case hardness.  Our unique process produces the best billet camshaft core (UGL) in the market today.”
